What is a
Reward Unit?
Partner Reward Units or 'PRUs' are digital units that represent your contribution to Noice’s growth. Each PRU could result in a cash payout if Noice is acquired or goes public.
When do I start earning them?
Now! If you are a Noice Partner, and live within an eligible country, you are already earning Partner Reward Units. Be on the lookout for an email from our partners at Koos.io to create your account at out Reward Program Portal, where you can keep track of your PRUs.
How do I earn Reward Units?
You can earn PRUs in a variety of ways and as the program expands we'll introduce new and exciting ways to stack those units!
How much will my PRUs be worth?*
The real world value of a Noice PRU will not be truly known unless Noice is acquired or goes public, and even then, the value is currently uncertain, and will depend on many factors. However, we have estimated what a Noice PRU could be worth under a variety of scenarios.
Let’s say you’re streaming on Noice with an average audience of 20 viewers, putting in about 80 hours each month — this is not unusual for a content creator. Based on our PRU awards table, you could earn around 300,000 PRUs in about ten months.
Now, imagine Noice is one day acquired for $1 billion—that's about what Amazon paid for Twitch in 2014. After expenses and other required payments (estimated ~51% ) the Partner Reward Fund would receive 30% of the proceeds — about $152 million to share with our Partners in this scenario.
In this example, each PRU could be worth around $0.152, making your 300,000 PRUs worth approximately $45,600.
This would be an additional cash reward, on top of any earnings you make from subscriptions, digital goods, or other features on Noice.
*Remember - PRUs are not shares of Noice equity but give the right to receive a portion of cash in the event Noice undergoes a liquidity event, such as an acquisition or public offering. PRU value depends on various factors and only becomes eligible for payment in cash if and when Noice’s common stockholders also receive cash for their common stock. At that time, Noice will provide details on PRU value, which may also be affected by conditions that apply to company stockholders, like escrow of proceeds from a sale or earn outs tied to the liquidity event.
